Chapter Two: The Camera Sticks

The first rule of the Legendary Spies is "to not leave any stone unturned," especially in the investigative nature of the affairs of life, so that every aspect of existence is examined in the most efficient way. It is that part of their Creed in maintaining the rules of reality, in order to ensure that fantasies do not breach the foundations of the intrinsic experience. Urban legends have existed long ago, without any competent grounds, so that anything that exists outside the purview of the experiential truth simply needed to be obliterated.

Bryan Cord has been a Legendary Spy for thirty years now, and he has been accustomed to the many reasons on how things operate within the Society. But the most important aspect of his experience was the skills he obtained in handling his Camera Stick, where the projector sword protrudes, a capable weapon with very sharp illuminated characteristics. The power of the projector simply hurt the Characters (the physical manifestation of the evil legends, also known as monsters -- note added by the transcriber) in inexplicable ways, that later on lead to their eventual eradication.

The discovery of the Characters a long, long time ago gave the impetus for the founding of the Most Gallant Society of Urban Legend Spies Pte. Ltd., a fellowship of concerned citizens who shares the same talents of an "extrasensory perception" that enable them to see the vicious Characters preying on innocent Actors, many of whom were influenced to do reckless schemes for someone's own, selfish ends.

But the Camera Sticks are not from this world, too, obviously. It came from somewhere, maybe from a parallel universe that they never knew existed, and this is precisely a balancing act for what has happened during those days when the world was still innocent from the invisible world of the urban legends, and everything sinister that they bring to the innocent Actors, in order for them to survive.

Many authors have shared in writing that monsters live inside our heads, and they have never been more truthful in making this exposition.

The urban legends hold that the Characters are being controlled in the minds of unscrupulous persons, known as Sinister Agents, that enable the physical manifestations of the many monsters to do their bidding, and feed on other people's imagination. This systematic scheme leads the victims to live a depressed, lonely life. The resulting pathophysiology was the escape of true happiness from the soul, which ultimately results to the cruel death of a dream, deep down within the soul. From the neurons that gives the imagination the vivid painting of the dream, it later on travels with high pressure all the way to the common resolve and enters into the cardiac veins. The resulting pressure have the capacity to break the heart, leave it broken for several decades, with all of its wounded scars, and to numb the glorious mystery of the workings of the inner self.

And then, it becomes the vapor of death, ready to be extracted.

The many ways on how to approach a problem is usually unseen and difficult to recognize, but the answer lies in the secrecy of the affairs of everyday life. Although it can be hidden, no person can have it extinguished by simply hiding into ostentatiousness. It is the data mining that leads to the discovery of the goodness that leads to a destination of many places, from the corners of the heart to the therapeutic properties of substantial consummation of hope.

No monster can never be permitted to play with their victim's emotions. That has always been the working motto of the Most Gallant Society.
