Chapter Fifty: Kevin Karen, Animated Short

There is a short film from the Society's archives that features a very intelligent Mongoose, responding to the name of Kevin Karen, whose main interest is to hunt, as well as punish, the "snakes" to be found directly from the definite historical past (some people call this the time wasps, or the Sovereign) after every successful attempt to manipulate the particles of space, in order to permit the most efficient flow of the effectivity of time travel, in compliance with the allowed routes of the many time segments listed to be safe and secure by the relevant authorities.

But this particular film is deemed neither true nor false, because it never left the editing room and other post-production facilities, and it has explicitly failed to secure, more importantly of all, the Imprimatur needed to release its content for validation, and to operate its case in the mechanism of the Society's magical reels. Even the several Records Officers in-Charge were too adamant to have its content be released under the Great Seal of the Society, for fear of the tragic consequences that might happen in case a genuine Sovereign might emanate from the reels of this film despite efforts for the investigation to proceed without incident.

Luckily, the screenplay for this movie was available for anybody's perusal, and the way this short film was written aroused many suspicions from the curiosity of the Anti-Plagiarists as they tried very hard to maneuver into the complicated words of its scenes and dialogues, confident that something must be hidden therein that could be heard loud enough by an appropriate, duly qualified Reader.

As much as the messages imparted from the Three Brothers of Old, or from Ezra Dunster himself (key elements within the plot of other relevant story narratives), the qualified Readers are very senstive to the call of ghost writers that may be present in the many medium and channels where messages can be encoded, processed, and then decoded back to its original state.

In this place of the world, in the city that never sleeps, Anti-Plagiarists are in search for that most elusive encryption key that could be the missing link to guarantee Lucifer the Devil's humiliating defeat. So far, there is no luck; there are no solid developments just yet as the difficult search continues, and the many investigations stalled for the worst, as fresh leads piled up that contributed to the confusion, most of which developed from the many circunstances surrounding the complicated adjectives attributed to the Urban Legends.

The deepest legends lie. Always. There can never be haste in the discovery of the repressed qualities of eternity.

But, indeed, there is a race: there is someone looking for these relics whilst others are simply looking for clues.

The revealed nature of the end of the cosmos is truly volatile, unknowable by the simplicity of the intellect; danger lies ahead!

So beware. Even the Reader must fear for her life.

Yet, despite it all, a new promising lead has been decided: this mongoose Kevin Karen must be found, and he must be found well and full of life. Intact within the motion of the magical reel.
