Chapter Ten: An Impossible Bond

There are many things that happen in present time that are attributed to the acts of unscrupulous persons in power, living or dead, and the powerful Playwrights are a concrete example of this universal supposition. Although the many Agreements before this literary cult was founded has been fully responsible and just in their dealings (sometimes with a noble cause, even), their later acts of abuse has been evident in the way events transpire in the past that is still seen in the consequent events that later on followed these unfortunate oversight in policy.

Since then, the Playwriting that eventually evolved from these lawful Agreements has become very dark in terms of substance and form, which is considered to be a complete travesty against the literary pursuit that aims to uplift the human condition in a way that depicts struggle as a way to triumph over the bad affairs of the conduct of life, and its corresponding interpretation of the strength of character, motivation, and an eternal purpose that feeds the soul of a human being.

That being said, the Executive Council of the Literary Committee has admittedly disclosed in a secret document informing the Presidium of said Committee the current situation that such dark movement has been gaining ground among the ranks of the Vicariate, and a Resolution declaring the Mighty Playwrights as an evil cult has been immediately sought and abruptly passed the immediate session held for the purpose preceding the filing of the information within the established bureaucracy.

Even though the Literary Committee operates with a certain degree of devolution from the Titular Bishop of Literature, the issue involving the "Impossible Bonds" that bind the Agreement into a matter of interest was an important development that will later on allow those who police such bonds to "defy the rules of nature."

Angels refer to this impossible bond as a Miracle. Some refer to it as Magic. Others, scientific knowledge.

But whatever it is called, the mighty Playwriting that has been left in its own device has been perilous to the Renaissance that has shaped most of the traditions of the Imperial Synod, although not always desired, but very much effective as well as influential, indeed.

The Vicariate has since then opened the inquiry into the denouncement of the impossible bonds that link Agreements into a senseless employability of what is called in Miracle Science as "Divine Opportunity."

It was later on found meritorious that such bonds must be declared "insufficient to cause nature to comply" and was introduced as a limiting statute in the Story Board's order paper to rectify the faults of the past.

The impossible bond is no longer to be invoked as a rule or legal matter to be passed as a piece of crucial legislation, but as a matter of necessity that must address the common good.

Miracles can only be invoked for goodness sake, from there on, as the law prescribes. Nothing else in this world can break this eternal promise.
